Rank Flywheel
Product · How it works

An operating system for SEO, not another point tool

Rank Flywheel runs the full workflow as one connected loop, and you approve every step that matters. Below is each stage, what the system does, what you decide, and how it hands off to the next.

The Rank Flywheel loop. Eight stages that feed into one another and compound over time:

  1. 1. Learn the Business. Analyze performance and extract insights.
  2. 2. Discover Opportunities. Find keyword opportunities and market insights.
  3. 3. Prioritize and Validate. Score opportunities for maximum impact.
  4. 4. Brief. Create strategic content briefs with clear direction.
  5. 5. Draft. Generate drafts aligned to the brief and brand voice.
  6. 6. Publish Deliberately. Review, approve, and publish to your site.
  7. 7. Measure. Track rankings, traffic, and conversions.
  8. 8. Improve. Refine strategy based on what’s working.
The difference

One system replaces a stack of disconnected tools

Each job below usually means a separate subscription, a separate login, and a manual handoff. Rank Flywheel covers all of them in a single loop, with a human decision at every gate.

SEO job Typical tool Rank Flywheel
Keyword & competitor discovery Ahrefs, Semrush
Content briefs & drafting Surfer, Frase, a writer
Editorial review & approval Docs, email threads
Publishing & scheduling Spreadsheets, CMS plugins
Rank tracking & measurement AccuRanker, separate tools
AI answer-engine visibility Usually nothing
Multi-site management More spreadsheets
The walkthrough

Inside each stage of the flywheel

01

Learn the Business

You describe each website’s purpose, market, and brand controls once, and build a private library of business documents and monitored URLs that inform generation without ever being published. Google Search Console and GA4 connect with in-app tests, and a Profile Strength audit with guided fix-it pages shows what to strengthen. Every later stage consumes this context, so generated content is grounded in the real business rather than generic filler.

Hands off to Discover Opportunities
02

Discover Opportunities

The system crawls the site on a schedule and maintains a page inventory, discovers and clusters keywords, and summarizes what competitors publish. Weekly content-gap analysis and staleness detection surface both new-page and refresh ideas, and reviewable Topic Plans lay out multi-page content programs. You curate the competitor set, promote the keywords worth tracking, review Topic Plans, and add your own page ideas.

Hands off to Prioritize and Validate
03

Prioritize and Validate

Monitored pages are scanned for concrete signals: ranking drops, competitor movement, content staleness, keyword cannibalization. Every signal becomes a recommendation with its evidence attached, and before any recommendation can trigger work it passes a validation step: does the intent match the proposed page, is a different page the stronger owner, is there enough factual support, is other work already in flight. Multiple signals for the same page merge into one intervention, ambiguous cases are routed to you instead of a confident one-click action, and you confirm, change, or dismiss each item.

Hands off to Brief
04

Brief

The system turns an approved idea into a structured content brief: angle, working title, heading outline, meta description, and call to action, with relevant passages retrieved from your private source library. The brief is validated against your brand-voice rules, and exactly one page credit is reserved, fail-closed, before any generation spend. You read, edit, and approve the brief, or reject it with a reason that is remembered.

Hands off to Draft
05

Draft

The draft is generated from the approved brief and the site’s business context, passes quality and brand-voice gates, and records which sources informed which content. Transient failures retry automatically without additional charges, and progress is visible on the content board. You review the article as a reader would see it, edit headings, sections, and metadata, and approve or reject with a reason. At most one credit is used for the whole brief-plus-draft chain, regardless of retries.

Hands off to Publish Deliberately
06

Publish Deliberately

You give the final go, always, and choose the moment: publish now or schedule it, timezone-aware, editable, and cancellable. For connected sites, publishing is a verified sequence that builds the exact deployable state, deploys it, and confirms the live URL answers before recording success. For all other sites, the system prepares an implementation package with content, metadata, structured data, and internal-link instructions for your own CMS workflow, then verifies the recorded live URL. Every publication keeps a complete idea-to-live record.

Hands off to Measure
07

Measure

Rankings are tracked daily from Search Console and twice weekly from live search results, alongside GA4 sessions and lead attribution. Each published change opens a before-and-after experiment record, and every page and keyword has its own performance view. You read outcomes in plain terms: improving, flat, declining, or not enough data yet, with data coverage stated rather than implied.

Hands off to Improve
08

Improve

This is where the compounding happens. Performance from Measure becomes next cycle’s monitoring signals. Rejected ideas carry their reasons and are not re-proposed, so the backlog gets cleaner instead of noisier. When a page is updated, generation is instructed not to regress the other keywords it already ranks for. Every document and attested business fact sharpens future briefs, and new pages exchange internal links with existing ones so each publication strengthens the whole cluster. Every page you publish teaches the system more about what works for this business.

…and the loop closes.

Improve feeds Learn: every result, decision, and document becomes input for the next cycle, so each turn starts better informed than the last. That compounding is the whole point.

Control and trust

Humans approve every step that matters

Rank Flywheel is not an AI writer, not a mass-content generator, and not an autonomous SEO service. The control surface is the product.

Approval gates

Brief, draft, and publish each require explicit sign-off. Rejections carry reasons, are recoverable, and are remembered.

Audit trail & isolation

A complete record of who did what, when, to which record, with strict tenant isolation verified by an automated test suite.

Credits that behave

One credit per requested unit of work, enforced at the database level. Automatic retries of transient failures never cost extra.

Provenance & experiments

Every article records which sources informed it, and every published change opens a before-and-after experiment record.

Who it's for

Built for people who run recurring SEO work

The flywheel pays off most when you deliver SEO cycle after cycle, across one site or many.

Consultants

Deliver a repeatable, defensible process with evidence and a record behind every decision.

Small agencies

Run recurring SEO across every site you manage from one workspace, with strict per-site scoping.

Multi-site operators

Manage a portfolio of properties without a spreadsheet per site.

Planned, not yet built

On the roadmap for the pilot phase

These are planned for agencies during early access. They are not live today, and we'd rather label that clearly than oversell.

  • Client management for agencies. Organize sites under named clients, with usage and cost visible per client.
  • Team members & roles. Owner and member roles with invitations.
  • Structured monthly client reports. Work completed, observed signals, and interpretation, with data sources and coverage stated.
