How billing will behave, whatever the numbers are
One credit per unit of work
A brief and its draft consume at most one credit, regardless of retries. Enforced fail-closed, at the database level.
No surprise spend
A credit is reserved before any generation runs, and automatic retries of transient failures never cost extra.
Early adopters hear first
Waitlist members get pricing before the public, ahead of general availability.
